Greene County Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, Erik Wright, works closely with a variety of agencies and neighboring jurisdictions to ensure the safety of local citizens. As the son of a former police officer, he is acutely aware of the dangers facing our local communities, but he also looks to mitigate the county from natural hazards as well. This is achieved through an aggressive public outreach program, as well as a social media platform. Wright is an active member of the Arkansas Emergency Management Association (AEMA) where he serves as the northeast area representative board member as well as on the editorial committee for the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Additionally, he was appointed in 2018 to the Arkansas Governor's Earthquake Advisory Council.
His office is located at 320 West Court Street Suite 107 in downtown Paragould.
